Such Troubling Sorrow

Such Troubling Sorrow

A Poem by Malcolm J. Watt
"

Easter has come and gone and the world is still in flames.

"

Such Troubling Sorrow

Such troubling sorrow

In the land of the Lord.

All our brothers are there

Cross, Crescent and Star,

All caught in cruel conflict.

Should man decide

What realm shall prevail?

In that peace we fail to grasp

Will it be the fate of the asp,

Or some final test

To see, who, is the best?

Such troubling sorrow

In the land of the Lord.
