A Late Rocket

A Late Rocket

A Poem by Malcolm J. Watt
"

My apologies to my parents: I'm such a Bum.

"
Hey Israelites & Humanity in General
We got a great God!
Too bad He picked us scumbags.
(The sons of Jacob et. al.)
We're up to no good (maybe.)
But it's all good. (maybe.)
And yeah we argue with Him
Sometimes we win (not often.)
The real crux of the matter tho'
Is how we treat each other (good & bad.)
(Why do we freak each other out so much?)
Anyway
That's what let's our God
Do what He loves best
To bring out all the good stuff
He has hidden in us
And trash the all the bad
We've acquired over the years.
Sincerely
Father Dum Dum
of the Holy mission of the left overs.
PS So is the Spirit 'Lady Gaga' or 'David Bowie'?
