New Life

New Life

A Story by Kat Loch

This new life. So unusual. So strange. So…wrong.

I've been lost in the dark for two hundred years, forgetting what normal life is like as I sit next to God's seat as He picks out the correct time for me to be dropped into.

I've known almost happiness. I've known love. I've known what it's like to live almost perfectly.

Now what I come into my new life, trading the high heels to combat boots, I wonder where my new life will head. I switch graceful and sweet, to unbalanced and vile. Dresses to pants and strange shirts. My mind once placed peacefully inside my head, and now it's gone and I am left insane.

From horse drawn carriages, to these cars, I still remember the clean air I used to breathe in. Now, my lungs are tainted with the residue from our world killers.

My strange new life, is twisted into something unknown.

About
I've learned my lessons and burned them into my heart. Here I am again, trying to live like no bad had ever happened and trying to reteach myself to forget and only hold onto what's actually going to .. more..
