Ocean's Gem

It's a short story about the inner journey every human has to go through to achieve something in life.

We locked that gauntlet of dawn and we turned to look to the west. The earthly dirt vehicle was turning to meet the sun and above that hill, it welcomed us to lead the way.

The ocean's heart is said to lie in the depths of a bottomless sea.

We will find it, we will run into what they say that man will not reach.

Thousands of paths, which at dawn still were not, now are crossed.

I grasped the ragged wood, which I called a cane, and it seemed like the sky was trembling.

A bundle of light, all the way, was climbing into the atmosphere, reflecting sparks on the ends of the horizon. Its source, our heart and our purpose to dive and see the truth.
