B.B.A Poem by MoetaSaruA poem dedicated to Tolkien's The Hobbit. You settled
in your world without hiding it, An expert
swimmer, in the depths of safety, you became. Tea,
always, at four, you ask by the heat In
adventures you said, you wouldn’t give in. Little you
thought of yourself on this hill A wizard
came by and asked for your help, To fight
with dragons with orcs, his wish to fulfill. Potty in
the Middle Earth, but for the hunt you stood up, Bearing the
Sting courage you sought to find, following
the Fellowship a lost home to bring up. Amid Misty
Mountains, bravely, you fought, And
kingdoms brought back, as, at the past, they have been. You had
inside clarity, confidence, pride It was a
great chance that you had foreseen. As the
great dragon you tricked kings,
wizards and elves celebrate your greatness but the path
of returning you cross with ink on
red papers amid the chests old is your braveness . Full of
life again, with your soul’s prime, Your ring
tight, you hold not to lose As great
you became, for a Hobbit of course Greed in
the heart, keeps you with shackles. © 2017 MoetaSaruAuthor's Note
