Better Than That

I'm baaaaacccckkkk. (Hehe, Falling in Reverse reference.)

Why do I attempt to love,

As if I have a heart?

Every single time I've tried

I get sent back to the start.

Love is overrated, anyway.

I know I'm better than that.

I should just walk away with what I already have.

 

I have no exceptions,

Exceptions are for the weak.

I keep promises I've made to myself

Even if it means the bitterest pills to drink.

Cry me a river;

Tell me you're sorry, and you really miss me.

You'll never be mine

And I'll never be yours;

I couldn't care less if you are pleased.
