When she tried to stand up against her attackers,
When she tried to defend herself.
She was left, alone and beaten.
Her parents had been murdered.
Her siblings kidnapped.
Her bones broken.
Her body bruised.
And no one would help.
She was left, alone and defenceless.
No one pitied her.
No one would help her.
She would have to help herself.
Or she would have to die.
So for now,
She was alone and defenceless.
She would always be alone.
But never more...
Would she let herself be beaten like that.
