I can’t see the

page runs from the words that seep

from me I seek the quotes to evoke up

all who choose to enlighten me

since it’s all who relate that inspire

the words my wisdom seeks.

 

And as I cope with the stubbornness I resist

in me I find the time to lay down my

passion swelling to uncontrolled obesity

and the out time diets I force feed my pen mock

my creative mojo that my ego demands I have

to make these luscious deliveries.

 

But if you can’t follow then how

hollow am I for blindly blasting lines at

the walls of closed minds that somehow still look

amazed at my attractive deficiencies. Gossip

fodder placed upon a page I stage scenes ablaze

soaked in what I and others do

 

Rolled into a line that refuses to rhyme

styled by the trend that recently raced thru

my mind can’t stand to be in popular status

since fame can corrupt the unique vision to

become the sight all have already scene

what to write, right what I do…
