Surreal Chill

Surreal Chill

A Poem by BJ "Bunneh3000" Brown

"Why do you care?
You could never understand
My pain is surreal, so just stay away man…"
That's not what she said, that's how it felt
Her tone was so cold even my smile couldn't melt
the blades she swung and the gate that hung
in front of what she couldn't see that I could
and if she would stop and not speak
maybe the then that peace she could seek
and calm that storm, bring back that norm
soothe that pain, and REALLY smile again
except not alone, a response in a loving tone
suffer me not with mistrust
or dismiss with a, "do what you must"
In fact don't say a word
just become more than a voice that's heard
and your chilled bones'll warm in time
if you let your pain
be mine…

Wow. Your willing to carry the weight of another's hurt. If only that were possible. Good write.

touching...
i feel as if I am the biter right now.

I haven't been very talkative to my friends and most importantly my girlfriend...
I think I came to the right place to ease my suffering right now.

Pondering on what the cafe has to say...

I love it.
