Humanity

Time is ticking fast,
And all we have to show is this.
A rusty dream,
A broken stone.

What happen to the stronghold?
Where did the good people go?
We have become in debt to our sins.
We now serve Death.

We are doomed,
No hope,
Unless we step up.
One person at a time.

I couldn't agree more. I constantly find myself looking at the world around me and I see it withering and decaying into something I hardly recognize. We are destroying the planet, destroying our bodies and destroying each other at a horrifying rate. Nice job of succinctly conveying this message!
