Imaginary Arms

Imaginary Arms

A Poem by Bullet Soul

Ice cold fingers touch the glass,

Blur the vision of her fantasy

Midnight dreams and broken hearts

Just imagine his arms wrapped around you tonight.

Black is the color that her soul will bleed

As spiders spin webs, of thoughts in her mind

Trapping the weak, and breaking the strong

Just imagine his arms wrapped around you tonight.

Death breaks in late that night,

Seals the lungs of those you love

Plagued the hearts of all she knew

Just imagine his arms wrapped around you tonight.

The blade makes her stronger,

But she's lonely as she bleeds.

Losing all she thought she knew

Just imagine his arms wrapped around you tonight.

She owes her courage, to the man she's never met

Who gives her comfort, in the midnight hours

And wrapped his arms, around her that night.

Ice cold fingers touch the glass,

Blur the vision of her fantasy

Midnight dreams and broken hearts

Imaginary arms, wrapped around her at night.
