Love is not cliché.

Love is not cliché.

A Poem by Bullet Soul

I love you he whispers, her breath on his lips
The ring on her finger, along with his kiss
This is his forever, in the palm of his hands
The center of every, eternal devotion

Another cliché statement, puts a laugh in her throat
She’ll never take him seriously, when words are all he has
So cliché, she mumbles, a smile in her voice
Why won’t you speak the words, of true romance?

He traces her lips, with the hand he holds free
In your eyes I see angels, that dance through Heaven’s light
Fireflies wings, tracing true love’s moonlight
Lilies of the valley, planting a kiss, on summer’s lips

I see walks on the beach, with sand in our hands
The first time we met, when I felt your embrace
The lines of sorrow, that you helped me erase
The pain I surrendered to, that you’ve lifted away

How’s that for cliché, he whispers so softly
Love’s faithful duet, their rhythm so cherished
Tears in her eyes, her smile runs deep
Down to her veins, she’s sure of their love

True love will never, sound too cliché
Will never blind you, from Heaven’s light
Is never expected, when it hurries along
But can move any mountain, that blocks your moonlight

Soft and slowly, she accepts his ring
As together they see fireflies, and the angels above
Desires warm kiss, has lifted their hearts
Each Goddess in Heaven, so sure of their love
