Never Said No.

Never Said No.

A Poem by Bullet Soul

Read it and see!

No.
She spoke this word, a thousand times
It’s taste so familiar, on ice cold lips

No.
Her heart is screaming, soaked in terror
The shout in her throat, longing for life.

No! Please! No!
She hears the pleads, alive in her mind

Why is he doing this? Her love…
His hand in hers, turned into a burden
His arms became, a new kind of torture

In her he’s forceful, desperate and lost
Searching for something, she’d never give
Without the demand, he’s given her

The knife is cold, against her neck
But she does not plead…
Forgets the magic words.

When it is over, words fly around her
The sounds of a court room, of harsh reality
Trapped in a world, she thought she’d left behind

The verdict is poison, like the blood in her veins
A bond she now shares, with evil’s kiss
And now they ask her, did she say it?

Now the word forms, on ice cold lips
The poison that stops, her bleeding heart
No.

Definitely a different write and a nice spin on the word No. It was intense and deep with icy feelings well done.

This is a scary poem here. It must have taken a lot of courage to write this.
The imagery is great. This was a nice job.
