Angel Moon.

Angel Moon.

A Poem by Bullet Soul

She was an angel; her life was a miracle

She saved the weak, the scared and the lonely

She tore off her wings, and gave them to me

A gift to the one, she’d always loved

On her arms she’d hide her bruises

The burns, the cuts, that scarred every angel

Her feet were bare, she gave way her shoes

To those who walked, such miles behind

She told me once, she was born on the moon

A fairy, an angel, lost in the night

When she vowed to give up everything

For those who longed, for such wings

“We all have wings,” she once said

We’re waiting to soar, straight up to the moon

Where fairies dance and all creatures soar

Above the clouds, and into your soul

She loved to learn, but laughed at our books

She studied from flowers, from the rain on the ground

From snow in the cold, and stars in the skies

Smart beyond, her sixteen years

She said that at night, the earth changed its ways

One night she pulled me, out into the dark

Showed me the ocean, of midnight waves

Alive in the moonlight, her spirit still reigns

Each night I’ll sit, right by that sea

I’ll remember the girl, who changed those waves

Who stood on the moon, that pulls these tides

She changed my life, put beauty in my heart

One day she disappeared

Maybe God took her, back up to her moon

Or maybe the angels, sang her away

But still her spirit, dances by the sea

I see her in the flowers, and the stars in the skies

I see her at midnight, alive at my side

The girl who inspired, who made the world spin

The candle that dances in the wind

She was an angel, our love a miracle

Once I was weak, so scared and so lonely

But she taught me of wings, of angels on the moon

She tore of her wings, and taught me to soar

“We all have wings,” is what I learned

Each day we soar, our wings touch the moon

Where forever she’ll dance, forever she’ll soar

Above the clouds, and alive in my soul

beautiful. There is some excellent scenery here. There is so much innocence in the "Angel".
The concept of love in this piece is wonderful. You've filtered out all of the emotions of the
world and ended up with pure love. There's a child-like quality to this poem. Feelings that are
given by birth...and haven't been perverted by the world.
