Loud Music.

Loud Music.

A Poem by Bullet Soul
"

These are the things my music drowns out...

"

I’ll turn up my music, so I can’t hear you cry

as this world steals each smile, I’ve placed on your face

Knowing I can’t help you, burns a fire in my heart

That spreads to my soul, and steals the life you gave me

I want to make you proud; you’ve made me who I am today

But what can I do, if my smile melts away?

I’m not enough, to change this world

Not enough, to carry your burden

My shoulders too weak, my faith too small

Our debt too high, and God too far

The path of stars, has faded away

Now I’m lost, inside their world

Why have you left me?

To carry the burden, of a thousand tears

A thousand words, they threw at me

That broke my shield, and plagued my heart

Why won’t you help me

Fix this world, you let them break?

Just turn up the music, forget what’s gone

As the world steals the smile, that slips from my face
