The Color Of Fall

The Color Of Fall

A Poem by Bullet Soul

It’s time for fall…

The time of year that most seem to dread

But she always held it, so close to her heart

The leaves that crunch beneath your feet

The one night monsters, brought to life

The breeze in your hair, the light in your smile

Color erupts, outside your door

Chilly yet warm, inside your heart

The feeling of fall, that lights up a soul

Some dread the winter, so close ahead
But in the moment, you vow to live

Fall is rebirth, of the best kind of life

Summer brings heat, winter brings ice

But fall brings the color, that warms every heart

Summer romance, will come to an end

But love for each memory, will always burn

A new kind of season, one to adore

The time of the year, that she’ll never dread

That always she holds, so close to her heart

This is really sweet. I like it a lot! :)

I really like the stanza:
"Summer brings heat, winter brings ice
But fall brings the color, that warms every heart
Summer romance, will come to an end
But love for each memory, will always burn"
It makes me imagine firey red leaves that bring newfound love!

Very well done. Awesome poem. Very true.
