Her Suicide.

Her Suicide.

A Poem by Bullet Soul
"

Since we all question death.

"

Do you remember?

The night was full of death.

The stars spelled out eternity, but her life was stolen.

What made her do it? They wish that they could know.

Sometimes the victim will leave letters, saying goodbye

But she left nothing – stopped her heart, and took her soul

Maybe it was our fault, or maybe…

She was the victim of herself

They asked me to help plan the funeral

To give the speech, beside her coffin

I wonder if she knows the tears I cry

Will forever be for only her.

They tried to cover all of the scars

But they still seemed to show

Her parents didn’t know, of the knife

Until it was too late.

Until our memories, were forever gone

The day we met, the day we vowed

We’d always stick together

I never knew, this is how it would end.

Nights and days, seem to be lonely

Without the friend, I used to have.

Why didn’t you pick up, your telephone

Instead of the knife, that stole your life?

It started as relief, as you held the weapon to your wrist

But you cut too deep, you cut too wide

They couldn’t stop, the flowing blood,

And now you’re gone, from this world.

Why? The words written across, your wrists and my lips

The words you covered, with your long sleeves

The words I speak, at your funeral

With your body at my side.

Why?

Didn’t you remember?

The day we met, so many years ago

The day I promised, you’d always have me

Whenever you felt, that you were alone

Didn’t you think of me, didn’t you remember me?

I wonder if, you could have guessed

The pain you’d leave behind

And the question I’ll never, get to escape…

Why?

Very sad and moving. Well done.
This sounds very true, even if it isn't.
Again; great job.
