Her Secret

Her Secret

A Poem by Bullet Soul

Do they know?

Do they know you?

Your face is dark, but blue eyes are bright

Scared to death, of endless strife

Running, running, running away

From all you knew, and all you loved

They say the world is bright

Because of your smile, and of your life

But you’ll never believe

You’ve ever really had a chance

Their insults will burn a crimson fire

Inside your heart

And soon they all will see

How weak you really are

You are barely, a part of this world

You stand outside, every crowd

Voices that break, words that kill

Will they find out?

Do they know your secret?

The chemical, so lost in your brain

And the marks beneath your sleeves

Running, running, running away

From the girl

You’ll always be

Author's Note

Bullet Soul
Another quick five minute writing, but it's the first poem I have written forever. Haven't had a lot of time for writing the past few weeks, and I need to get back in my 'mode' so to speak. So this isn't the greatest poem in the world.

'You are barely a part of this world' is a very emotive world. Many people cld sign up to that club. 'I am barely a part of this world' turning it around a touch cld be a terrible admission or a plea from someone with nothing.
