The Aftermath of War.

The Aftermath of War.

A Poem by Bullet Soul

Alas, we have reached our land!
All have wept, but now we shall stand
The soldiers have fought, have brought us here
Brothers, sisters, set aside your burning fear!

Grab hands, grab strength, put away your knives
We've battled, we've won, now we live our lives!
Free, one, strong, brave, never afraid
We have won the final crusade!

March, stand, face the light of a brand new day
My brothers, my sisters, what more is there to say?
The battle, the battle was rough, the battle was long
But we stand, hand in hand, to begin a new song

Put away your guns, leave them at your feet
No longer do we fear, the rains of defeat!
You've earned the right, to live tonight
The enemies, long gone, the war out of sight

Live now soldier, protect your lands
In the face of war, we shall join hands
A family will stand, will never break
This land, this sea, they can not take!

We've traveled the sea, we've faced the storm
Strong men were lost, but bonds did form
When you send a man out, he shall not die
For his spirit rides on, lights up the sky

Move on, my friends, for today begins your life
Remove the blade, stash away your knife
As family we fought, alas! we reach land
Remember the fight, as we stand, hand in hand
