The Tale of a Ghost.

The Tale of a Ghost.

A Poem by Bullet Soul

Here begins, the tale of a ghost
Who lost the love, she cherished most
Who found herself, dead on the scene
Wondering what, her life could mean

Memories, haunted by your face
Will her soul, find it's place?
Betrayal burns bright, in his eyes
Has broken her heart, has pierced her skies

He loved her more, though she was her friend
Both loves have seemed, to reach their end
For when we look away
We never know, what they'll say

Behind your back, their words can cut
And one day, before your eyes are shut
You'll say that they, never cared
Their lies spoken, your heart not spared

Love can cut, deep like a knife
Inside a daughter, a son, or a wife
We stand at it's mercy, on our knees
But love won't hear, our shattered pleas

At the end of the day, the ghost hides her face
For her soul, never found it's broken place
The one she loved, holds another hand
So unlike the life, she had planned

Her story does not end, with peace or hope
For all those cut by love, cannot cope
With each memory, or fallen tear
Knowing he holds, another near
