Children Of The Sea.

Children Of The Sea.

A Poem by Bullet Soul

The sea sings a song, to the bravest of men
Who stand by the shore, weapons in hand
Sings of the home, they’ve left behind
Sings of the treasure, they’ve yet to find

The hum in the breeze, enchants any soul
Lures in the lonely, who still have a chance
Sings of the beauty, across the land
Sings of the love, beneath the sand

Her voice a sweet rhythm
A heartbeat in disguise
Her love as soft, as a cloud
Her voice enchanting, soft yet loud

Their words are harsh, but her voice relieves
Heals their wounds, with a touch of her waves
Lifts the weak, with her powerful tide
She is the sailor’s, eternal guide

Her children walk the earth, singers of the sea
They share the music, with every soul
So lend your ear, to the ocean’s song
One day near, you shall sing along

From city streets, to country sides
Soothes every heart, and every mind
Her music spreads, to every heart
Her healing voice, will never part

Years ago, I stood on her shore
Listened to her every note
Years go by, but still I see
The hope she left, in you and me

So set down your burden, in the sea
She’s heard your pain, and your plea
She sings of the hope, you’ve left behind
And of the treasures, you’ve yet to find
