A Smile Unnoticed

A Smile Unnoticed

A Poem by WordyWorld

Have fun reading 📚 😊

"
Reality hit me hard,
A nightmare's cruel reward.
Frightened, I awoke,
Only to find a pain,
A burden unspoken.

Deep down, I signed,
A false relief's facade.
Frozen tears flowed anew,
As disbelief held me awed.

I wished I'd asked her then,
But she was bound to another's hand.
This painful feeling, I can't transcend,
Yet, I bury it deep in the sand

I may seem uncaring,
Or perhaps, appear unfazed.
A smile unnoticed, flaring,
But to you, these eyes forever are glazed.

My original poem goes like this below.. with a lot of grammatical errors and maybe raw part so i used AI to correct and polish it, hope you like it.😊

Reality hitted me hard
And I suffered a nightmare
Got frightened so I woke
Only to find my pain
Which cannot be shared.

Deep down I took a sign
Maybe a sign of relief
Frozen tears flowed again
As I stayed there in a disbelief

Wished I had asked her out
But she was in a relationship
Can't hide this painful feeling
And yet still had to bury it deep

May seem like I haven't cared
Or maybe I look unfazed
A smile unnoticed
But to you only these eyes will forever gaze.

I really like it at a particular moment in life we all feel in such a manner.
