Chapter 2~Listen To Your Heart

I looked at him... Studying his features. His eyes were closed, his hands behind his head in a lounge. He must have sensed me looming over him like the few clouds in the sky, because he opened one eye and looked at me.

"Can I help you, Aislynn?"

"No."

"Why are you staring at me?"

"Because you lied to me."

He sat up. "What do you mean, I lied to you?" He asked, concern painted on his face heavily.

"You told me that you loved me."

"I do love you." he said, half in a panic.

"Then why did you forget the sandwiches?"

He took in a breath like he was going to say something and then it obviously registered what I had just said, because he closed his mouth and gave me his pissed off cat look. You know, the one where it looks like you just drenched him in water, if he had the ears they'd be flat.

"Aislynn?"

I grinned the cheesiest grin I could muster. "Yeah?"

"Go get your coat." he said, standing up and brushing off the excess grass on his clothing.

He smiled at me as we started walking. He had grabbed everything, letting me only take my jacket, which wasn't truly needed. "Will you tell me where you're taking me now?"

"I'm going to take you somewhere that I can rape you." he said, imperturbably.

I closed my eyes and shook my head. "Have I told you how much I want to kill you sometimes?"

He laughed outright. "Yes. You have. On several occasion."

"Then why do you keep--" He interrupted me by planting a kiss square on my lips. I melted into him again, when he pulled away I hazily said "pushing me." He laughed.

"You just have to have the last word, don't you?"

I bit my lip and nodded softly. He laughed again and we started walking. We got up to behind the falls when he turned and looked at me. "Are you hungry?"

"Yes..." I said hesitantly. He spread out the blanket and took out the food. There were sandwiches, and chips, drinks, fruit salad, and various other foods. I smiled at him and kissed him.
