All Alone

All Alone

A Poem by Buggie_Boo

A kiss of steel
Touches my skin
A whisper of help
An emotional whim

I slice it through
I bleed out the bad
Numb can feel better
Than overwhelming sad

Repetition in red
You're such a disgrace
How can anyone bear
To look at your hideous face?

Your scars are the secrets
You'll protect with your life
Your wrists are your enemies
Your friend is the knife

You're feeling alone
Let down and in pain
No one understands
And it's never quite the same

You've called out for help
But no one can hear
All of your screaming
Fall onto deaf ears

You just want to let go
You're tired of this game
Round and round in circles
Red lines of pain

This is the story
True, is it not?
That addict is the one you loved,
The one that you had forgot
