Prologue

Prologue

A Chapter by Buggie_Boo

Have you ever kissed someone and felt like you're flying? I know I have. Everything revolves around a kiss. Your first kiss, your heart beats faster, your hands tremble, palms sweat, tummy gets the butterfly bombs. There's an expected kiss after being proposed to. Before the fear and self-doubt of "can I go through with this" sets in. After saying your vows on your wedding day, "You may now kiss the bride." A husband/boyfriend will kiss his wife/girlfriend after they have a baby, and she's still in that bed, sweaty, the newborn screaming in the background. There's a kiss when someone is dying, and you're saying good-bye. A break-up kiss, goodnight, good-bye kiss.

And it's where our story begins. That kiss that made my head spin, my body relax, the world go blurry, my heart race, my hands tremble, my eyes close, my leg pop, my tummy get butterflies and my emotions unleash. I looked into his eyes, his hand still on my neck and the other on my waist.

"Sam, I uh--"

He put his fingers to my lips. "Do you know how long I've wanted to do that, Aislynn?" He replaced his fingers with his lips again. Boom! Instant reaction, just like before. This time I just melted to him and accepted it. When it ended I looked into his eyes again.

"Don't kiss me again until you promise not to fall in love with me."

"Why?"

"Because I'm through with love."

Let's rewind.

Buggie_Boo
I realize my chapters are short. There is a reason for that.
