Our End

Our End

A Poem by Bud

Was it not a light in darkness
That gave sight to these barren eyes
Seeing nothing more than deserted plains
Filled with mounds of wilted life, wasted away?

Did not that same light encourage hope
Within a hopeless soul allowing it to find a promise
In a brighter tomorrow cresting a fiery horizon,
If only given the proper time for manifestation?

Behold! Here is testament of that very light.
A light that shines upon each of our souls, daily.
Behind every dark cloud, every drop of rain,
Light does work towards our salvation… If not our end.

So, you're back? That would be a good thing. How are the book sales going? Well, I hope.

Another excellent piece. A very strong and inspirational piece. Allows the reader to take and apply where and as needed.

Wow this was very well written. I really like the way this plays out. I like the dark spin on this.

Nice to see you back in the writing game... back with a vengeance I see... it is a bit twisted how the human psyche works... the ending was quite mind blowing.
