I'll Remember You

I'll Remember You

A Poem by Bud

Sitting here thinking of you,
And all the things we use to do.
My, how time flies by.
I miss looking in your eyes.
If I could go back to those days
When we were young, and we played.
If I could only tell you what I feel.
If I could only tell you how I feel…

Come on let's run to the park!
Where life seemed a little less dark, now,
And float down that ol' creek.
We'll keep going no matter how deep.
Let's go back to those days
Where life was fun, and we could play.
If I could only tell you what I feel.
If I could only tell you how I feel…

Let’s go play in the rain, again,
So those drops will hide the pain.
We can chase promising rainbows,
Trying to find days of gold.
We’ll run up the hill of kings,
Sharing a song for the world to sing.
If I could only tell you what I feel.
If I could only tell you how I feel…

But those days are gone, my friend.
And your time on earth has ended.
I’ll remember those days of yesteryear,
Those days when we hadn’t a care.
I’ll remember all we’ll never do.
Most of all, I’ll remember you.
If I could only tell you what I feel.
If I could only tell you how I feel…
