Love entwined in friendship

Love entwined in friendship

A Poem by O Bubbly_snowflake *

When you looked at me with those eyes of a dove

I knew I found a friend I could easily love

It’s hard to figure out what it is about you,

The constant need to be around you is so new

I forget the time when we are together,

Wishing the moments could last forever.

How you make me smile even on the darkest days,

And how you make me see the truth in simple ways.

The sight of you makes me smile so free,

As if no one else in the world is watching me.

The way your laughter fills me with happiness,

Your warm honey voice replaces the sadness.

I know you are perfect, it’s easy to see

Friendly, honest, charming; what else can you be?

I could search the galaxy for a friend like you

But the fact is; there is no one better than you!
