Missing You

Missing You

A Poem by Bryn_Blossom
"

A poem I wrote by the bay missing my girlfriend

"

Watching the ships sail by, wishing one would bring me to you

Staring out at sea, imagining you’re with me

Wishing you could see this view

And finally be free

Watching the planes fly over the sea

And watching the clouds slowly rotate

Wishing you could see it with me

Maybe I’ll take you here on a date

Watching the birds fly above the water

And watching them land to nest

Makes me wonder about our future daughter

If you were here, I would feel at rest

Your poem reminds me of when I was young and in love. The emotions at that age so strong and new, if they were colors they would be the brightest ever seen. I hope you and your love never lose that bright optimism of love. Thank you for sharing your poem.
