Being a Perfectionist

Being a Perfectionist

A Poem by Bryn_Blossom
"

A poem about how I feel as a perfectionist

"

Being a perfectionist is hard

Trying to be perfect means making no mistakes

Being a perfectionist is studying flashcards

Trying to be perfect means never pressing the brakes

Being a perfectionist is tiring

Trying to be perfect means not failing

Being a perfectionist is not inspiring

Trying to be perfect means always wailing

Satirical in its truth. I couldn't help but smile at the end in agreement. As a failed perfectionist I can attest to these words being obviously truthful. Wonderful work, Bry.

I imagine it also means difficult human relations and fatigue, too.
