I sit here today,

my MIND is wide awake,

yet my EYES,

they seem so closed,

UNAWARE.

Everything i see,

Is it really here?

Or just a FIGMENT

of my IMAGINATION?

Is everything around me

Just a DREAM,

and I'm about to wake up?

When I blink my eyes,

Will YOU be there?

Or will you disappear?

Am I really who I SEE,

In the MIRROR?

Are all my FRIENDS

Really MY  friends

Or are they just ACTING

BETRAYING my TRUST?

Do i need to PINCH myself

every time

YOU come around?

Am I living in a WORLD

That i INVENTED

in my head?

Is purple,

REALLY purple?

Is blue,

REALLY blue?

Are you,

REALLY yourself?

Am I,

REALLY me?

I think of YESTERDAY.

It seems like an ETERNITY ago.

Like a DREAM.

When I WAKE up

In the MORNING

Will everything be GONE?

Will YOU be GONE?
