I'm Not Asking For A Lover,

I'm Just Asking For A Friend,
I'm Just Asking For A Little Company,
Even If It's Just A Little While,

I Try To Get Over The Past,
Live On For The Future,
But The Past Is What Made Me Who I Am,
So I Don't Want To Forget,
I Want To Come To Terms With Myself,
Whats Happened Has Happened,
It Doesn't Have To Happen Again,
As I Smile,
As I Cry,
I Experience,
I Learn,
I Grow Up,
And I Make The Most Of What I Have.

Guardian Angel, you just summed up life in one short poem. There is so much wisdom displayed throughout, I think you already have a thorough understanding of what is to be expected.
