Come To Me, MorriganA Poem by Bryad Polis ValentinoA tribute honoring my Gaulish/Irish heritage and our goddess of witches, The Fate Morrigan, be here the Great Phantom Queen.
Her name on my tongue,
Instruct my path,
Guiding me to the Hearth,
Patronage found in her heart,
One of bliss, serenity,
For she pleases me,
Helping me believe,
That life is whole,
One of wonder, magick,
Death found within life,
Among natural splendor.
The bonfire stokes,
I see you there,
Invisible, great queen,
Phantoms close,
You are strong,
Aid me, complete me,
End my plundering walk,
Make me more.
Oh great Morrigan,
Cradle me gently,
Against your bosom,
Let me know you,
The most I can.
Lead me to the undying lands,
War, death, prophecy, witchcraft,
Nature, underworld, love, unseen,
When you let me go,
Call the crows,
To carry me beyond,
For my mission begins,
Whilest ends,
At your side.
Great lover of old,
Do not forget me,
My beloved protector,
The Fate Morrigan.
