Dana, High Priestess, Sister

Dana, High Priestess, Sister

A Poem by Bryad Polis Valentino
"

She's amazing, a real gem, so mighty, yet sad. She's my sister, and perfect for her task.

"
Dana, sister,

High Priestess,

Family, equal,

Mighty, human,

More, goddess,

Saint, compassionate,

How are you like this?

I had advantages afforded to me,

You grew up, bound to the temple,

Russia, place of hardship,

Wonderful woman,

Wild woman,

Healer, mystic,

Serene, stern,

High priestess,

Sister of wonder,

Adoration figure,

Known to me, others,

Forgotten by circumstance,

Not I.

Author's Note

Bryad Polis Valentino
"As he rode down the path, Bryan thought about Yennefer, then cursed."

"The wraiths gathered, and challenged him. The monster slayer dismounted his mare, and she ran."

"He drew his silver sword, and thought, Great. Now I'm already fighting, again."

"His reunion had been short, and his safety, shorter."
