I Am A Shaman

I Am A Shaman

A Poem by Bryad Polis Valentino
"

For my new friend, Maille.

"

I told someone the truth,

About my gift,

The one that made me,

How you say?

Strong, strong enough to go on.

Life isn’t a dream,

Yet shamans have a special power,

Of reconnecting distant lovers,

Telling of forever,

Making you believe,

That life is made in dreams,

Where we can see,

That our feelings aren’t in vain.

My friend is not someone of shallow taste, much like his jokes. Meanwhile, a fallen ruler becomes ill, and the monster slayer senses the distress..."
