Darkness

Darkness

A Poem by BryanaBear

Sinking into the darkness,

will I resurface?

There are no promises of tomorrow.

I cant always be so sure…

I could wake up tomorrow.

or I could sink into the darkness.

Would anybody notice?

Or is everybody that once cared gone.

I’ve lost one or all.

Sometimes the darkness feels like home.

If home is where the heart is,

is my heart filled with darkness?

I shall say this about the ink.... It's not just a blink.
For ever word you write and for every word that is read. You touch someone. You make them feel, you give them a thought, you become someone to remember.
People would notice. =)

Onto this ink now... This piece offers an insight. The darkness is now defined as a safe place, a place to reside, because of the pain that shines to bright at times beyond the shadows. Yet, these shadows, and these rays of light, are all in the mind... which by a measurment of inches, is seperated from the heart which is the spark of the individual internal light (In my opinion anyway.) That means, no matter where you are in those shadows... You always have the heart spark to light your way or give you warmth, kinda like a candle. =)

So make sure you wake up in the morning and continue to put thought into hand and hand to ink... so that it allows others who remember, think.

I liked this very much. A good 'thinker' poem.
