Dying to Love You

Dying to Love You

A Poem by Bryan Smithson
"

A poem to my future girlfriend, whoever she may be, and for however long….

"
I’m dying to love you
Don’t you know it’s true?
Whoever you may be
The one who dies next to me
My eternity spent with thee

It’s hard to be alone
Feels like no one’s home
As I sort through depression
Dying to love someone

My tears fall just like rain
With you it wouldn’t be the same
I sit here all day as I’m prayin
For you to love me for me
To see how special I can be

I’m yearning for you
Whoever you are
To come from afar
In the earthly dimension
Give me a special mention
Capture my heart
Make me yours
Take me now
As I am
Don’t pretend
You don’t want me, too
