Encore

Encore

A Poem by Bryan Webb
"

An old piece, simple and clean.

"

Encore

My body

Electric

Curved

Sunburst

Sunkissed

Fiery red

Crisp tan

Chrome

My neck

Divided

Long

Rosey

Lynched

Six Ropes

Different sizes

Strung up

My head

Perched

Tied

Bolted

Six times

Mishappen

Stamped

Owned

Again, my neck

Slid

Fingered

Tapped

Touched

My ropes

Held

Caressed

Rubbed

Tapped

My voice

Fueled

By lightning

By plastic

By flesh

By heart

My cry

Painfully beautiful
