Shocking

You electrify me,
filling me with energy;
every time that
you make contact.
My body reacts,
contracts and twitches.
Sparks fly,
and overload
my trip switches.
I feel them,
coursing their way
through my mainframe.
Burning their way
through my heart
and my brain.
Incinerating me,
from the inside.
Flames in my veins,
I've nowhere to hide.
Body lights up,
and I'm set aflame;
until all that's left,
is a burnt out frame.
Shaking and smoking,
quiet and still.
