Lost in thought and a million miles away.

Lost in thought and a million miles away.

A Poem by Don Shaw
"

I wrote this two days after the passing of my mother.

"
Lost in thought and a million miles away.

Lost in thought and a million miles away.
Sitting in a dim lit room, caring for the mourning dogs and helping them cope today
The soft singing of parakeets lighten the mood of an aching heart that only a son
could feel. Lost in thought and a million miles away.

The sweet memories speed through my mind at the speed of light, pausing for
a smile or laugh. My sweet mother who loved me so went to heaven,in perfect love
             she dwells.

Lost in thought and a million miles away,my mind wanders and carries away my day.

Absolutely beautiful, you have created something very special here, any mother that has gone to heaven before their child would be very proud of this x
