Buddha my LordA Poem by B R Pawan KumarA poem about great lord buddha
As bright as a thousand lamps
He awakened with the rising sun As majestic as a great tusker Revered by each and everyone Born under the gentle light of the full moon As brave as a lion as gentle as a doe Full of mercy, full of compassion, treasure trove of wisdom Was generous to all. Be it a devotee, friend or foe. Born as a prince so very noble to rule over his land. He was meant for much more. He ruled the world instead. Never raised a sword as he ruled the hearts of all. All great kings stood weeping and bowed at his death bed. He turned murderers into monks and vicious kings gentle. Gave the world triple gems, as a refuge from chaos and turmoil Benevolent one blessed as all with four noble truths and noble eightfold path He was like a lotus flower that bloomed in pure bliss that world could not soil. The only true awakened one, greatest man who ever lived. He knew which no other could know; Saw which no other could see He was the best a human could become or attain. He is the very person, the legend that everyone worships and aspires to be. © 2014 B R Pawan KumarAuthor's Note
