You can’t Milk a Bull

You can’t Milk a Bull

A Poem by Brother Jacob

I am a rooster my name is Sam.
I am a rooster, that’s what I am.
I can’t lay eggs, I am not a hen.
I am a rooster I’ll say that again.
I’m proud to be a rooster, that’s how God made me.
A rooster I’m proud to be.
I am a hen my name is Pam.
I am a hen, that’s what I am.
I lay eggs; I produce the farmer food.
I am not a rooster, I must conclude.
I’m proud to be a hen, that’s how God made me.
A hen I’m proud to be.
I am a bull my name Graham.
I am a bull that’s what I am.
I can’t produce milk, I am not a cow.
You say I can become one I don’t see how.
I’m proud to be a bull that’s how God made me.
A bull I’m proud to be.
I am a cow my name is Fran.
I am a cow that’s what I am.
I produce milk for the farmer to drink.
I’m not a bull, you better rethink.
I’m proud to be a cow that’s how God made me.
A cow I’m proud to be.
Gender does matter; you may think what I’m saying is cruel,
but you can’t get eggs from a rooster, nor can you milk a bull
