Who Am I

Who Am I

A Poem by Brother Jacob

Who am I to take any glory.
I'm not the Author of the Story.

Who am I to take any praise.
I'm not the Author of mans’ days.

Who am I to say what's right.
I'm not the Way, the Truth, the Life.

Who am I to say what's wrong.
I'm not the Composer of the song.

Who am I to say that I'm mine own.
I belong to the Cornerstone.

I was purchased with a price
The Precious blood of Christ.

Who am I to question the King.
The very Creator of everything.

Who am I to question You Lord.
Your Word of Truth, can't be ignored.

Who am I to question You.
You heart is pure, Your ways are true.

For Your ways are not mine.
For Your ways are divine.

For Your thoughts are not mine.
For Your thoughts are divine.

Your ways are greater, and thoughts are higher. Isaiah 55:8-9
Let God be true, and every man a liar. - Romans 3:4
