A Drug Addict Can Be Saved

A drug-addicted can be saved, I know this to be true.
My uncle was one, that God did pursue.
He started smoking marijuana, when he was in school.
I don't know why he did, perhaps, he thought it was cool.

As he got older he experimented with Oxy and Morphine,
but one night at church Jesus made him clean.
He had felt so low, that he was going to take his life.
He was going to blow his brains out, he wasn't going to use a knife.

He went to a church service to tell his family goodbye.
If he would have taken his life, we would surely cry.
God spoke to him at church that very night.
There was no more darkness in him, he finally saw the light.

God delivered him from drugs, and gave him a brand-new liver.
No more Heptiats, no more withdrawals, no more shivers.
