Because Life Is A Bowl Of Cherries

Why is the world the shape that is in?
Because we have stopped, repenting for sin.
Since we live under grace we think it’s okay,
just to live anyway.

I’ll walk naked in public, and do as I please.
Because “life’s a bowl of cherries,” I’m gonna feel the breeze.
I’m going to say what I want to say, do what I want.
Anything that is wrong, I’m going to boldly flaunt.

Because “life’s a bowl of cherries”, I’ll live by my choice.
And if you disagree with the way I believe, I will try to silence your voice.
