An Actual Fact

An Actual Fact

A Poem by Brother Jacob

You give your children no curfew.
You don’t correct them, for the wrong they do.
I don’t believe in abuse.
But disciplinary acts are what I use.
Put their butts, in time out.
No matter how much, they scream and shout.
Ground them from something, they enjoy.
Television, or perhaps their favorite toy.
Give them a butt whooping, every once in a while.
But don’t go overboard, and place them on trial.
Quit blaming the guns, and start blaming the shooters.
Parents discipline your children, and they won’t become looters.
Don’t let them play, violent video games.
Too much violence will rot their brain.
Some people can’t distinguish between, what’s fake and what’s real.
This is an actual fact, it’s not just how I feel.
