Matthew 4:12

Matthew 4:12

A Poem by Brother Jacob

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. - Matthew 7:12

My favorite scripture is “do unto others.”
Cause after all we are sisters and brothers.

We should help each other out, when one is in need.
That’s how we can sow a seed.

Lift each other up when one does fall.
That’s God’s calling for us all.

Don’t make fun, and don’t be cruel.
You won’t be wise;  you’ll be a fool.

We don’t always agree, but there is nothing wrong with being kind.
Lord, open up our eyes to see, now’s not the time to be blind.

This is a scripture that is pure and true.
“Do unto others, as you would want them to do to you.”
