Why I Write Poetry

To me, poetry is more than just a work of art.
It holds a special place inside of my heart.

Poetry can tell a story; poetry can form a song.
Every word that's written, we'll make you wanna sing along.

I write poetry for many different reasons.
I love expressing the beauty of each and every season.

I love putting a smile on somebody's face.
That is something rare that can never be replaced.

I love writing poetry for my Lord and Savior; I love that most of all.
He's always there to catch me and lift me up whenever I may fall.
