Don't mistake this for the sinking...

Don't mistake this for the sinking...

A Poem by Brooke, this is the otherside.

Sudden awe taking actions,

Regretful fractions

This will never end

Things there that were never sent…

The night never seems to end.

Nothing ever seems to end.

Times slipping away

I’m standing still

What have I done?

What have I gotten into this time around?

The clocks ticking

Where is this going?

Sinful scars

Sail to mars

Lonesome falls

Stay here till death calls?

The night never seems to break and bend

Nothing ever mends

Time’s fading away

Where am I today?

What have I done?

What have I gotten into this time around?

The clocks ticking

Where is this going?

I’m overboard

On dry land

I’m sinking

Raft in hand

Smile,

Smile for me baby.

Take my breath away…

Save all this.

Save it all for me

What have I done?

What have I gotten into this time around?

The clocks ticking

Where is this going?
