The Past Kicked the Future's A*s

The Past Kicked the Future's A*s

A Poem by Brooke, this is the otherside.

Tug-of-War;

The silence is trembling

And I don’t know where to begin?

Where will this godforsaken road finally end?

Just rip the life from my body

Stop this final feeling.

You and I were never really seen.

Our love was never ever sealing.

I don’t understand anymore.

The wants become stronger

And days just become longer.

If only you were here to take this hunger.

The long traveled road that follows a
forsaken romance.
This God-forsaken road is the road we
travel when love is lost.
"Just rip the life from my body

Stop this final feeling.

You and I were never really seen.

Our love was never ever sealing."

You plead with your God, to still the ache.
Your love affair was not known to the general
public so you have no one to talk to about it.

Your love was never ever sealing. There was never
an engagement, no promises, no marriage, nothing was
ever sealed. Now it is only emptiness.

All that is left now is the hunger. The ache in your
stomach , the need for physical comfort, the need to
be phyically loved by another human.

This is a sad song, well said.
Well written, full of pathos and energy, but very sad.

I liked it but I dont understand why there is a question mark after "I don't know where to begin"

I liked it. Short and sweet. Although, I dont quite understand why it is titled as it is.
